I was initially eyeing out the KRK rockets because it seemed like a standard, but second guessing everything is good sometimes because I'm very happy with my choice.
If you want a great, well balanced and clean sound to master in, this is your jam! Regardless if I'm listening to Tech House or Classical music, it just sounds amazing. It's crisp, but deep, the dynamics are so, alive... in lack of better words.
I had my doubts about the "Image Control Waveguide", it felt like a gimmick. But really, the spread of the sound is unlike anything I have every heard. The sweet spot is super wide and you're always at the center of the sound regardless how much you move sideways.

I have this about 6 months now. What i can say this is truly best bang for buck!!! Although it only 5 inch woofer but the bass respond was very good in my room.
By describing and the hype will be made to these boxes I was interested and bought a pair of LSR 305. When the boxes were connected for the first time I was disappointed. However, it is aware of the new speaker must be "burn in" first. So I played for a few days, several hours per day, on the boxes from CDs. JBL says that each of these box before it leaves the plant 100 hours played, I can not believe the best will. It's really the fact that you can hear very well throughout room when using these boxes the stereo panorama (sweet spot). The separation of bass, midrange and treble is 305 presented very well on the LSR. It is also worth considering whether the good and clear representation of the stereo image may not be a disadvantage, simply because it means you might not dare to undertake specific left-right adjustments when mixing. To check the "stereo image" I think these boxes are outstanding good. As a second monitor system in professional recording studio this boxes are highly recommended.
