Stringing across the scale
So far used only e1 as an octave string on a 12-string guitar from this set. Ernie Balls look ok and I think, the cobalt coating may lengthen the life of the set.
I have used cheaper Ernie Ball strings before, and they were good considering.
Have to stretch these like all the other strings to get them settled.

I love these strings
Compared with the regular boomers, rotomatics or brite wires, these feel much better on the fingers. Also, the sound is at least as good.
I never tried the ones with exotic coatings so I can't compare there.

Great Strings. Just not for me
these are great strings and last seemingly forever. But they are not to my taste, I was looking for something a lot heavier (not even slinkys)

great strings
Great sounding strings that last for a long time.
When the Cobalt strings are very new, they feel a little bit odd, almost sticky.
This goes away very quickly, when you play them in.
What follows is a very long phase of great sound - dynamic, detailed, great clarity. And great playability.
Never had a string break, even with big bends.
