In Love With This Pedal!!

Astonishing, Sturdy build!
Here is how it works:
first decide which direction you want to go, up or down, this can be done by the range switch.

When you decide your direction adjust the pitch knob to get your desired pitch , I play metal, for soloing purposes i found the range of pitches enough for me.

Then as you desire, you can adjust the ballistics, the shift knob to decide the rate of the incoming to be pitch shifted, the return knob to set the rate of incoming note to return to its normal place.

I found the momentary knob helpful, if i want to bypass the pedal I can just turn it off, and trigger the pedal when i press on footswitch.

it took me 10 minutes to figure out this pedal, so no complication.

totally recommended if you want to have whammy effect without having floating bridge.

the only thing i wished for is the range to has footswitch instead of regular switch, if you want to change the direction you have switch it by your hand, hard to do by foot.

Important: this pedal doesn't support battery, so make sure to have your 9V adapter.

I'm a fan of Digitech products
Nigel ST 19.05.2021
I have purchased the Ricochet, as I have found the Whammy V too big, even for my huge Rockboard Cinque 5.4 pedalboard.

Pros:
- This product is very clever, they managed to fit in a lot of useful functions into a much smaller pedal.
- The sound quality is also excellent.
- The build quality is top notch.

No cons for me, it does exactly what I bought it for.

I have dealt with Digitech customer care directly regarding a general enquiry and the company is very responsive, they went the extra mile to assist me.

Buy it until it's cheap and it's in production, as Digitech has the tendency of discontinuing pedals, which then become an immediate classic and can fetch higher than its new price on the used market.

Better than expected

bought this as the full sized whammy is just so, well, full sized. Found myself doing unexpected things with it, mostly more subtle short step downward sweeps mixed in to my playing. It reall excels at this. Of course, the more traditional whammy sounds are there if thats your cup of tea. Killer octave down pedal as well!

D
good look, quality build, great sound

I use this pedal instead of a wah-pedal because of the different sounds you can make with this pedal. the pros for this pedal is the sound quality, the metal case and the possibilities qua sounds. I like the design of the pedal too. The cons for this pedal is that they don't seem work with the T-rex Fuel tank classic for powering. Although the pedal consumes only 300mA wich should be perfect for the T-rex. I had to buy a different power suply that had a 500mA output for 2 of the Digitech pedals i own. overall this pedal is very good and it was exactly the sound i was looking for.
