Nach langer Suche habe ich endlich das für mich passende Mundstück gefunden. Ich spiele ein Euphonium von Wilson TA 2950 und hatte bisher das mitgelieferte Wilson Mundstück in Gebrauch, das meiner Ansicht nach nicht wirklich zu dem Instrument passt, kann aber auch an mir liegen.
Mit dem neuen SM4X habe ich eine deutlich bessere Ansprache insbesondere auch in den tiefen Lagen, die Höhen waren für mich noch nie ein Problem. Meinem Empfinden nach ist der Sound auch deutlich voller und das Euphonium kommt auch im Orchester deutlich bessser zur Geltung

Für mich auf jeden Fall die beste Wahl.

Euphonium Mundstück meets Posaune

Seit zwei Jahren spiele ich eine auf mich angepasste, warmklingende Tenorposaune mit Quartventil. Hier habe ich bei der Anpassung ein Bach Artisan5G ausgewählt - super für einen warmen und weichen Klang. Für spritzige Bandmusik musste ich jedoch zu einem Griego wechseln.
Die erneute Mundstückprobe hat mir mit dem Schritt auch mal ein Euphoniummundstück zu testen, neue Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt, weil Es mir in Sachen Ansprache genau das gibt, was ich an alles Stilen benötige und darüber hinaus. Außerdem bekomme ich den Sound zu jeder Zeit genau so, wie ich ihn gerade benötige. Einfach ein super Mundstück!
