Used in between my preamps, it features extraordinary clarity and it is safe from most interferences. It is well worth the price, these are cables for life and I've trusted volvox for the past 15 years. If you wish to have the best XLR cable for your money, especially when interference is an issue, this is it.

One of the best XLR cables

I own a TLM 103 and I needed a high quality XLR cable and this cable is truly outstanding. It's braided, sturdy and it really improves your Microphone's sound quality. Definitely worth the price tag and I think any Microphone owner should invest in a quality XLR cable.

Crystal clear sound

You have to hear it to believe it. These cables are manufactured in a way that they reach perfection. You can feel it just by getting your hands on one of them. It’s obvious that they are manufactured with superiority in mind. You hear the difference from the first moment. And they are build to last forever.
They worth every single penny of their price because they’re just so valuable.

Lohnt sich die Anschaffung eines Vovox-Kabels?

Die Antwort klingt zunachst etwas einfach: Das kommt ganz darauf an.

Was nutzt schon ein Vovox-Kabel, wenn man ein billiges 300-Euro-Mikro vor den Sanger platziert? Oder wenn man nur Preamps und Wandler im Wert von ein paar Hundert Euro besitzt? - In so einem Fall sollte man keinen Gedanken an ein Voxox-Kabel verschwenden.

Erst wenn man all die Hardware und Software auf den hochsten Stand gebracht hat, und noch weitere paar Prozent an Klang-Qualitat gewinnen mochte, sollte man daruber nachdenken. Und oft bleibt es nicht nur bei einem Voxox-Kabel; denn: Mikro-Preamp, Preamp-Kompressor, Kompressor-Wandler ... das sind ggf. schon 3. Mischpult-Boxen ... dann sind es schon 5 usw.

Weil ich mit dem "normalen" Vovox Kabel Probleme bezuglich Einstreuungen im Studio hatte, musste ich eben dieses "Protect" nehmen. Mit diesem Kabel lauft alles wie geschmiert.

Ich meine schon, dass im Studio alle Signale transparenter, detaillierter und auch etwas heller klingen. (Achtung beim Mix nach der Umstellung!)

Fazit: Dieses Kabel ist 10x so teuer wie ein herkommliches Qualitats-Kabel; aber nur um 10% besser (meine Einschatzung). Bei wem allerdings das Geld keine Rolle spielt, und wer noch die letzten paar Promille aus seinem Equipmnt herausholen mochte, sollte sich auf jeden Fall eines (oder besser: einige davon) anschaffen!
