No clangers dropped

This is the instrument used in the old British children's show The Clangers. They were little animated wool puppets and the actors doing the voices would have a script and play the melody of the words through this whistle.

This whistle brings back the memories. I also remember partying with one in the street when France won the World Cup in 1998. I bought this to replace it as it's a bit worse for wear now.

Still the same quality slide. Just keep it lubricated and it will last many years.

I expected better for this price

I use this one a lot. Very usable. My only complaint is the sometimes metal sounds (harmonics) that come with sliding. I expected a bit more stability for this price. But there are not so much alternatives that have a slide of this length.

klingt ziemlich "windig", finde ich . . . eher wie diese Kinderspielzeuge . . . als Ambient Sound brauchbar, dann aber mit Effekt: z.B. Echo ab 800 ms aufwärts oder krasse Hallfahne ( oder beides ;-) ) für chillig-spaciges Zeug!!

Beim ersten Einsatz hatte ich gleich diesen Verschlußdeckel hinten in der Hand, schlecht fixiert.
