B&S Challenger 1 S: Excellent Value

The B&S Challenger 1 S has a brilliant sound, is free blowing and gives a good response. Given that this instrument is a high Intermediate to low professional model it gives excellent value for money. The silver plate finish looks fantastic too. One minor thing is the valve top caps have a rubber ring cover instead of felt but this doesn't impair the play-ability or sound.

Die Challenger I ist eine sehr durchdachte Trompete mit hochwertiger Ausstattung zum kleinen Preis: Versilbert, Goldmessing-Mundrohr, Neusilberaußenzüge und ein einteiliges Schallstück, sowie schöne Lötungen und Verbindungen machen die Challenger I zu einem tollen Allrounder.
Einziger Wermutstropfen kann sein, dass die Versilberung an den Ventilgewinden nicht sauber ist. Passt hier alles, dann ist die Trompete uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Ein klarer und sauberer Klang, ein gutes Anblasverhalten und die reiche Ausstattung stellen den Anfänger und den Profi zufrieden.

Great value

I bought a Bach 37 when I was in high school because that was the trumpet to own. When I started to do parades with the military I needed a "cheaper" trumpet to use outside and bought this. 3 years later i sold my Bach because I love this so much. Easy to play and great intonation. I recomend this trumpet to everyone.

Je suis actuellement les cours de l'académie de musique et cette trompette me donne satisfaction quant au son et la facilité de jeu. Je jouais auparavant sur une trompette Yamaha plus lourde. J'ai acheté cette B&S
3137 voici un an.

Je rencontre cependant 2 petits soucis de fabrication. Des taches brunâtres apparaissent sur la finition argentée. La seule manière de les supprimés est de frotté assez énergiquement avec un chiffon doux et sec. Le second
soucis est un écoulement d'eau au niveau supérieur de la coulisse d'accord. Je viens d'envoyer un mail au service après-vente et j'attends leur réaction.
