You get what you pay for. Decent construction, sturdines, very, very good entonation. The case is o.k. and the mouthpiece i didn't use so i can't tell.
I've been playing it for a year very consistently, i play like three hours every day, in fact i make my living with it.
The lacquer is not very good but i don't care for it so much and i'm glad they save expenses in that department.
It is a little hard on the hands, the keys controlled by the pinkies are sometimes even painful to play. The passage between low Eb and C is very hard to me. In other words the ergonomics could be better.
The last critique is dedicated to the micro-tuner which was already a bad idea a hundred years ago when was invented. It is unusable because other than completely closed create a disturbing vibration on the sound. On top of that, if you want to use a tenor mouthpiece the thing doesn't allow to tune properly (i had to cut a good chunk out of the back of my piece).
In conclusion it is a good sax for amateur level but thinking that is the only brand new melody you can buy on planet earth we need an upgrade quickly!
I would suggest to make a "Tenor" version with a little of curvature on the neck (without that awful micro-tuner) and the ergonomics redesigned.
