Very good all round conference microphone. Good sound reproduction, flexibe and adjustable profile, makes set-up for and configuration easy. Excellent for speach, but also used for acoustic instrument pickup and response is remarkably good for such a small dynamic capsule. Warn response with good dynamic range. Super cardioid pick-up shape allows microphone capsule to be far (up to 2m) from speaker, with good pick-up clarity. Adjustable gain allows set up with good SNR in most situations. Well worth the investment. Make sure it's mounted in a suitable vibration mount! Not the one supplied in the package!

This microphone made all the difference needed for our church auditorium. Even older folks with hearing aids commented on how much better they were hearing the person at the pulpit. The product is also made so that we can change out the condenser if needed. It fits in the shock mount tightly and doesn't introduce any additional noise even when the mic is accidently touched when someone is speaking or singing.

Wir hatten bislang an unserem Rednerpult (Saal mit 500 Plätzen) immer gern das gute alte AKG 535 oder neuerdings das Audix VX-10. Die klingen sehr gut, sind aber auch ziemliche Klötze vor der Nase der Redner*innen. Vor allen bei Videomitschnitten ist das nicht schön. Wir haben dann einige günstigere Schwanenhälse ausprobiert. Die waren allesamt nicht gut.

Dann das Shure: Mit ein bisschen Eq hat es sich klar gegen die beiden oben genannten großen Herausforderer durchgesetzt. Top Sprachverständlichkeit, unauffälliges Design, und sehr unempfindlich gegen Rückkopplung. Auch wenn sich ein (ungeübter) Redner etwas mehr bewegt bleibt die gute Sprachverständlichkeit erhalten. Wenn es um reinen Wohlklang geht hat das VX-10. immer noch etwas die Nase vorn. Das Shure kann aber deutlich lauter gefahren werden bevor es koppelt.

Es gibt sicherlich günstigere Schwanenhälse, aber kaum bessere.

Ideal fürs Rednerpult

Das erste MX412/S habe ich für ein Rednerpult einer Schule beschafft und da sehr gute Erfahrungen mit Sprachverständlichkeit, Sprechposition und Emfindlichkeit gemacht. Einige Zeit später waren in einer Kirche an der Kanzel und am zweiten Pult die Mikros auszutauschen und die Wahl fiel nach den guten Erfahrungen wieder auf die Supernieren-Ausführung des MX412. Der Klang ist sauber aufgelöst und klar und auch hier fällt auf, dass der variable Sprechabstand und die Rückkopplungsfestigkeit für diesen Anwendungszweck ideal ausfallen.
Man muss nur darauf achten, dass die Kapsel eher von unten nach oben auf den Mund "zielt" und damit ein frontales Besprechen wie bei einem Gesangsmikro vermeidet. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Wahl für diesen Anwendungszweck.
