We've discussed the most common beginner's instruments, now only you can decide which one is for you! Remember to take into account the physical size of the instrument - think about how you'll transport it and whether it will fit in the space you have available. Think of your neighbours - will they be able to hear you and tolerate your daily practise? And consider your budget, especially if you are unsure about how long you will keep playing for. Above all though, music is for enjoyment, and choosing what you really want to play may make the difference between daily practise, and the instrument languishing in its case - enjoy!
