Great Strings!

All of my four-string basses were strung with Rotos, so this set seemed to be the logical choice.

I'm primarily a slap and fingerstyle bassist. I play a lot of alternative rock and metal, so I prefer a more agressive bass sound.

Rotosounds have a great tone, which cuts very good through the mix. They seem to have a nice longevity, because the tone stays bright for weeks. And I have broken only two strings, each after months of hard playing. However, the bright sound produced by these stainless steel strings might not be for everyone. Also Rotos feel a little more rough on the fingers than some other brands, so this may be considered a downside.

I would recommend Rotosounds to everyone who's looking for affordable and reliable stings. Even if they turn out not be your favorite set, it's worth to try them out.

Klingen die werksseitig aufgezogenen Saiten auf dem HARLEY BENTON HBB600TBK doch eher etwas auf der dumpfen Seite, bringen die Rotosounds ihn so richtig auf Trab. Die Saitenlänge paßt perfekt und der Klang ist so knackig wie man es sich nur wünschen kann. Im Verhältnis zu den Werkssaiten sind die Rotosounds im Spielgefühl zwar deutlich härter, aber mit einer leichten Verringerung der Saitenhöhe läßt sich trotzdem komfortabel spielen.

...und es knurrt ganz grandios! :-) Die Investition in diese Saiten lohnt sich IMHO für alle HARLEY BENTON HBB600TBK Besitzer!

Zu den ROTOSOUND RS 66 LC gibt's eigendlich nicht viel zu sagen. Wer Rotos spielt weis um was es geht. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen! Toller knackiger Sound für alle Spielarten! Bespielbarkeit und Haltbarkeit ist ebenfalls vorbildlich! Sie behalten selbst bei "heißen" Gigs ihre Stimmung und den tollen Sound und ich würde sie wieder kaufen.
Ich spiele schon seit langem Rotosound-Strings und habe auch diverse andere Marken ausprobiert. Ich kann dazu nur sagen: Back to the roots! Keine "Spezialbeschichtung" oder Raumfahrttechnik! Einfach Saiten wie sie sein sollen! Natürlich zum ROTOSOUND-mäßigen Preis aber wer Qualitativ sehr gute Saiten will muss diesen Preis bezahlen, wird aber garantiert nicht enttäuscht!
